Barbarian will stream on HBO Max instead of Netflix starting on Oct. 25. Zach Cregger’s horror film will also be released on 4K Ultra HD and digital platforms.
Barbarian has arrived to streaming services just in time for Halloween.
Despite still playing in theaters, Zach Cregger’s horror film has hit HBO Max (if the idea of screaming in public is too much to bear). The digital rental release will happen alongside a 4K Ultra HD release, which will include bonus scenes, behind-the-scenes footage, and additional commentary, per Variety.
Barbarian follows Tess Marshall (Georgina Campbell), a young woman who arrives at an Airbnb in the outskirts of Detroit only to discover that the rental has already been booked by a man named Keith (Bill Skarsgård).
