NASA’s Hubble Telescope captured an alluring image of Herbig-Haro HH 1 and HH 2, located 1,250 light-years from Earth.
NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope captured an alluring image of the Herbig-Haro objects HH 1 and HH 2, showcasing a tempestuous and turbulent stellar nursery of infant stars. Both objects are located in the constellation Orion, and are about 1,250 light-years away from Earth. While the James Webb Space Telescope ( JWST ) has been making headlines since it began taking images of deep space, Hubble continues to show its usefulness with images of its own. In fact, Hubble is being used to lay the groundwork for future Webb observations, such as the case with this particular image of Herbig-Haro.Two groups of astronomers requested that Hubble capture images of HH 1 and 2 for separate studies.
