Alexander Vindman, the former U.S. Army lieutenant colonel and whistle blower whose testimony led to Donald Trump’s first impeachment, has criticized the former president after he announced that he is suing New York Attorney General Letitia James, saying it „smacks of desperation.“
In a statement on Wednesday, Trump announced he has filed a suit in a Florida court accusing James of conducting a biased investigation into The Trump Organization, suggesting she is unfairly probing „great and upstanding businesses which have done nothing wrong.“
The suit claims that James „repeatedly abused“ her position as New York Attorney General to pursue a „relentless, pernicious, public, and unapologetic crusade“ against Trump, with the stated goal of „destroying him personally, financially, and politically.
