Foxconn Set to Update Q4 Outlook After COVID Curbs at China iPhone Plant

iPhone assembler and Apple supplier Foxconn said on Wednesday that it plans to update its Q4 outlook on Thursday. The firm’s main Zhengzhou plant in central China, which employs about 200,000 people, has been rocked by discontent over stringent measures to curb the spread of COVID-19, with many workers fleeing the site. Meanwhile, Foxconn is set to release its third-quarter earnings on Thursday, and the company is expected to resume full production at its Zhengzhou plant by the second half of November.
