Twitter Blue, the company’s paid subscription service that is currently available in five countries, could soon be available in India, according to the firm’s new owner. Elon Musk has said that the subscription service, which will offer users a verification badge, is expected to roll out in India in „less than a month“. Twitter’s strategy to introduce a monthly charge for the verified badge has polarised users globally, and is expected to be available to users after the November US midterm elections.

Earlier this month, Musk had announced that verification blue tick in front of a user’s name that authenticates an account will be charged $8 (roughly Rs. 660) per month.
