Senator Mark Villar on Thursday commended President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., who met with Japanese businessmen handling semiconductors, electronics, and wiring harnesses in Tokyo.
“This is a good start for our visit here in Japan. We met with companies involved in industries where a majority of the workforce are Filipinos. President BBM received their commitment to continue hiring and prioritizing Filipinos to work for their companies here in Japan and also in the Philippines,” said Villar, who is part of Marcos’ delegation to his five-day official visit to Japan.
