Plenty of other characters play a role in their journey. They run into Itachi Uchiha, Sasuke’s brother and a shinobi of the Uchiha clan. There is also Hinata Hyuga, a kunoichi of Konohagakure and a member of another team. Naruto Uzumaki is the anime and manga’s main character. An orphan who was shunned by the Hidden Leaf Village during the early parts of his life, Naruto sought to become its Hokage to prove himself to everyone.
Naruto goes through a lot of growth throughout the series, maturing as both a fighter and a person. In part one of the show, he is between 12 and 13 years old, while in part two, he goes from 15 to 17 years old.
Similar to Naruto, Sasuke is between 12 and 13 years old in the first part of the show, while he goes from 16 to 17 years old in Naruto: Shippuden. Sasuke is also a bit taller than the title character.
