7 Lingering Questions We Have After The End Of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

By the end of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, players are left with many unanswered questions and mysteries.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is a wild ride for a sequel. It opens five years after the original game and can make players feel like they missed several seasons of a show. That’s because Cal is being aided by a new crew including Bode and Bravo, two mercenaries he hired to help take down the Empire.

His old crew eventually shows up, but there is still that missing piece of information. For those curious, a tie-in novel released recently called Star Wars Jedi: Battle Scars which does indeed fill in the gaps between Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. That’s great for that time period, but what about the questions left on the table by the end of this sequel?
There will be spoilers in this breakdown of the biggest riddles.
One of the oddest things about the franchise is the Sith’s need to have red Lightsabers. When Cal awakens Dagan from his Bacta Tank slumber, he has a mini-tantrum before changing the color of his Lightsaber. The audience is smart enough to get context clues when a Jedi is evil without needing the red coloring to appear. So, why does it happen in every major storyline? Also, what is the longevity of Bacta Tanks? Dagan spends a long time in one which seems way too long.
There is a time jump between Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and this sequel. Five years pass and Cal is off doing adventures at the start of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor with a new crew. While moments of the rift are brought up in the game, why Greez, Merrin, and Cere break up with Cal is still a major mystery.

There is the aforementioned novel, Star Wars Jedi: Battle Scars, to fill in some gaps but that doesn’t help the players of this game.
