Speaking to Kinda Funny during a recent appearance, Diablo general manager Rod Fergusson spoke about what type of future Diablo 4 will have. Namely, he mentioned that a handful of Diablo 4 expansions were already in the works, revealing that due to the live service nature of Diablo 4, the development team had to work on being sustainable and working on a variety of things.
