The Animal Crossing: New Horizons community is once again bonding over a meme featuring Tom Nook, who is seen taking a popular stance on the lack of proper inventory space in players‘ pockets. Unfortunately, prayers for a solution have yet to be answered as the game has not introduced new content since the Animal Crossing 2.0 update first dropped in 2021.
Players have had their gripes about limited pocket inventory space since the game’s initial release in 2020. At the start of the game, beginners have access to only 20 slots in their pockets. As they naturally progress through the game, they can purchase Pocket Organization Guides from Tom Nook, the island’s avaricious real estate owner, and eventually earn a maximum of 40 slots. This may seem like a lot of space to some, but the inventory fills up quickly and players are fed up.
