Nothing Phone (2) was announced globally on Tuesday, and the handset will be on sale in India starting July 21st. The Phone (2) is not a typical successor. While most second-gen iterations see minor upgrades and minor price changes, the latest Nothing smartphone comes with several hardware and design-level upgrades compared to the Phone (1). That’s why the device has also been launched with a much higher price tag.

At first glance, the Nothing Phone (2) and Phone (1) look similar at a distance. However, there are some minor tweaks here and there to make the newer device feel more premium. Firstly, the LED lights under the transparent rear panel have been further separated to offer more notification features. The 3D rear glass subtly curves at the sides to offer a more comfortable in-hand feel as well as a premium look.
