A 3-2 check swing by Luis Urias — in which first base umpire Vic Carapazza ruled Urias didn’t go around — was proceeded two pitches later by a walkoff grand slam by Pablo Reyes in a 6-2 Red Sox win over the Royals.
It did not take long for the Red Sox to take advantage of the questionable call.

It certainly appeared to the Royals that Urias went around as they started exiting the field after what would have been the final out of the ninth inning.
