Jarvis Jones, the team’s player connection coordinator, was arrested on Friday night on misdemeanor charges of reckless driving and speeding maximum limits, which typically means at least 20 mph more than the speed limit.
Jones, 33, was released an hour after his arrest on $2,400 bond.
He was on the sidelines on Saturday night when Georgia defeated UT Martin, 48-7, in its season opener.
The coach is a former All-American Bulldog who spent four seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers and has been a member of Georgia’s staff since 2016 when he retired from the NFL.
