Week 10 in the NFL starts with a Thursday Night Football game between the Chicago Bears and Carolina Panthers.
Quarterback Bryce Young and the Carolina Panthers (1-7) travel to Solider Field to compete against the Chicago Bears (2-7). It’s been tough sledding this season for the Heisman Trophy winner and overall No. 1 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.
Young leads an offense scoring 17.5 points, which is 26th in the league. His total QBR rating at 29.5 is the worst in the NFL, and last week, in the loss against the Colts, he threw three interceptions, including two that got returned for touchdowns.
Despite the early struggles, Young is confident that better days are ahead for him and the Panthers. During his weekly press conference, Young said a short week could be good for his focus.
„You don’t have much time to waste,“ Young told reporters on Tuesday. „You have to expedite some things. But, with that being said, you’re still responsible for the same things. You still have to go out and know the same stuff. I make sure I watch the same stuff, make sure that, although practices may—obviously, with this different week, the practice schedule looks differently—still responsible for getting those reps, being ready.
