Matt LeBlanc paid tribute to his Friends co-star Matthew Perry — who tragically died at age 54 on Oct. 28 — in a heartbreaking Instagram post on Tuesday, per Variety. The post featured four photos selected from the two star’s numerous scenes filmed together amid the NBC sitcom’s of 10-season run, and a picture of the cast embracing in a group hug on set.
“Matthew. It is with a heavy heart I say goodbye,” he began. “The times we had together are honestly among the favorite times of my life.
It was an honor to share the stage with you and to call you my friend.”
He continued, “I will always smile when I think of you and I’ll never forget you. Never. Spread your wings and fly brother you’re finally free. Much love.”
In the witty and comedic spirit of Perry, LeBlanc concluded his post, “And I guess you’re keeping the 20 bucks you owe me.
