A memorial service for 36-year-old Roderick Jackson is being held in his hometown of Cambridge, Massachusetts.
A funeral service is being held for a Massachusetts utility worker who was struck and killed by a vehicle while working on a road in Waltham 10 days ago.
Roderick Jackson, 36, of Cambridge, was a National Grid gas operations technician who died after a pickup truck crashed into a work site on Totten Pond Road the night of Dec. 6.
His funeral started at about 11 a.m. Saturday at the St. Paul AME Church on Bishop Allen Drive in Cambridge. Visitation hours were held at the church before the funeral.
Jackson, nicknamed „Kito“ by his mother, was the oldest of four children who helped raise a brother and two sisters from when he was 12 years old.
