Type in a sentence describing the vibe you want, and Spotify’s latest AI feature will give you a list of songs it thinks are a good match.
Spotify is rolling out an AI Playlist feature in beta that will allow you to type in a prompt to get a curated list of songs, the music streaming platform announced Sunday.
Users can reference fictional characters, real-life locations, or emojis in their prompts, according to Spotify’s blog post, and the AI will create a music playlist with 30 songs that attempts to match the vibe. The feature will be visible from the Library menu alongside a sparkle icon.
Once users type in their prompts, they’ll be able to refine and edit their AI playlists using more text prompts before they’re officially created.
