While armor is crucial to keep players alive in Elden Ring, for those willing to sacrifice safety for fashion, these are the perfect sets to find!
Arise now, ye Tarnished for the Lands Between is ripe for the taking. But thou must remember, killing thy Elden Lords is mere diversion. For thou must prepare to slay in the true Elden Ring endgame, Elden Bling. Because if one is to become an Elden Lord, one has to look better than a wretch. Armor stats be damned, fashion is all that matters once players have gotten „gud.“
Luckily, Elden Ring’s armory is akin to a fashion designer’s wardrobe. Options range from being a literal hobo to an odd case of Kanye West taste, but there are styles in between. That might be overwhelming for those who are too busy worrying about Margit’s next appearance (whoops). Hence, allow this list to present the most fashionable armor so that thee can be too sexy for thy shirt, it hurts, doth it not Tarnished?
Updated on May 28, 2024, by Nahda Nabiilah: What’s better than defeating enemies and slaying undefeatable beasts in Elden Ring? Doing it in style. There are various armors found lying around the Lands Between and some of them are more fashionable than others. Of course, each armor has its own damage negations, resistance, and weight, but to some, that’s not important as long as it looks stylish. It’s completely reasonable if players wish to change their armor set for a specific scene in Elden Ring or a photo, like the final scene when it’s time to choose the ending. 23 Confessor Set
Players don’t need to go far to look like they have a competent drip in Elden Ring. Simply starting out as the Confessor class is enough sometimes. For it has one of the most satisfying hoods in the game; large enough to veil the wearer’s face, and wavy enough to add an air of mystery.
The hood also goes well with a lot of armor sets, and it’s the perfect armor for cosplaying assassins from Assassin’s Creed. The rest of the Confessor set isn’t forgettable either. The armor piece has a flowy cape and a thematic cloth pauldron and wearing the whole attire makes players look imposing enough. 22 Noble’s Set
While not as dramatic as the other armor sets in Elden Ring, The Noble’s set deserves its moment to shine. Each armor piece belongs to royalty and those who wear this set are known to be of the highest esteemed nobles, even in death.
The Noble’s set is made from pure silk and is white as snow, which will turn out to be a lovely contrast when Tarnished are covered in blood from killing enemies and exploring dangerous areas. The Navy Hood is the icing on the cake as it seals the outfit by obscuring a bit of the face and draping it dramatically over one shoulder. 21 Cuckoo Knight Set
The Cuckoo Knight set is just a reskinned version of the typical knight armor in the Lands Between. There are many variants of this one from Caelid to Altus Plateau. However, the Cuckoo Knight set sets itself apart by being the most pristine out of all the variants.
It has a complete cape (which is the least tattered) and the colors of the coat of arms aren’t faded at all compared to the more dilapidated variants, making the Cuckoo Knight set more respectable. In terms of lore, it has some significant implications, such as signifying how Liurnia of the Lakes remained untouched by the Greater Will’s oppression and greed. 20 Land of Reeds Set
Like the Confessor, the Samurai in Elden Ring starts off with undeniable style. Thanks to some leftover assets from Sekiro, players get to have a competent fashion statement in the form of the Land of the Reeds set, which is basically just weathered samurai armor in Elden Ring.
The masked helmet paired with the bouncy armor plates makes it more animated and hypnotic compared to most plate armor sets. It’s a good way to stave off some murder-hungry Fashion Police invaders without investing too much time and exploration effort. 19 Kaiden Set
For those who prefer their armor and fashion statements in either a rugged Viking or standard Anglo-Saxon fit, then the Kaiden set satisfies that masculine urge to raid villages and settle everywhere. This fictionalized take on Anglo-Saxon armor has a huge fur drape for the pauldrons, exuding a more primal spirit.
The scale armor is also a nice touch, but what stole the show apart from the wolf skin as a jacket would be the closed helmet. It makes players look enigmatic and violently mysterious. Thankfully, players can get it early on from those pesky Kaiden horsemen. 18 Spellblade Set
Sorcerer Rogier has made some serious and silly mistakes that led to his demise, but given his easygoing and kind disposition, one can forgive him; besides, the man knows how to dress to impress.
