Donald Trump was surprised to find out that Taylor Swift wasn’t conservative, according to a new book about the former president.
Apprentice in Wonderland: How Donald Trump and Mark Burnett Took America Through the Looking Glass, written by Variety co-Editor-in-Chief Ramin Setoodeh, will be published on June 18, just weeks after Trump was found guilty of all 34 counts in his hush money trial in New York on May 30.
The book tells the „definitive untold story“ of The Apprentice, a reality television show hosted by Trump that aired from 2004 to 2017, although Trump stopped working with the production in 2015.
In an excerpt of the book shared by Variety, Trump praised Swift during a November 2023 interview with Setoodeh.
„I think she’s beautiful — very beautiful! I find her very beautiful. I think she’s liberal. She probably doesn’t like Trump,“ Trump told Setoodeh.
