A Mortal Kombat 1 player finds a neat The Boys Easter egg less than 24 hours after Homelander was added to the game’s roster.
A Mortal Kombat 1 player has found an Easter egg in which Homelander says one of his lines from The Boys. The Mortal Kombat 1 cast welcomed Homelander, the iconic leader of The Seven, and one of the most anticipated additions to the NetherRealm Studios title.
Homelander is the latest character added via Mortal Kombat 1’s Kombat Pack. It all started in November last year with Mortal Kombat 1 adding Omni-Man from Invincible. Quan Chi arrived in December, and DC’s Peacemaker was Mortal Kombat 1’s first addition in 2024. Ermac, who had a role as a minor antagonist in Mortal Kombat 1’s story mode, returned as a playable character in April, with Homelander finally being added in June. Players‘ expectations for Homelander’s debut in Mortal Kombat 1 were high, and it didn’t take them long to notice something interesting about one of the Kombatant’s abilities.
