Voronezh Oblast officials declared a state of emergency after a drone barrage set off a chain detonation of „explosive objects.“
Ukrainian drones struck an ammunition depot in Russia’s Voronezh region, causing a large fire, according to local reports.
Ukrainian intelligence claimed responsibility for the attack in the region’s Olkhovatsky district.
The Ukrainian Main Intelligence Directorate (HUR) said in a statement on Telegram on Tuesday that it was behind the attack. It shared a video showing plumes of smoke rising into the sky, and said the size of the blaze was around 3,500 square meters, and that the depot was still burning.
