FBI Raids New York Governor's Former Aid's Home: Everything We Know

Federal agents swept the former chief of staff’s Long Island home early Tuesday.
The Long Island home of a former aide to New York Governor Kathy Hochul was raided by the FBI early Tuesday morning.
Linda Sun, Hochul’s former deputy chief of staff, had her $3.5 million home swept by federal agents. Neither Sun nor her husband Chris Hu have been accused of wrongdoing. They live together in a five-bedroom house located in a gated community on the North Shore of Long Island. Property records show they owned the house until March, when it was transferred to a trust.
The FBI confirmed to Newsweek that it „conducted court-authorized law enforcement activity in Manhasset yesterday“, but declined to offer details about why the home was searched. No arrests were reported. The New York Times reported that the search warrant was obtained by the U.S. attorney’s office in Brooklyn.
