Xiaomi 14 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, which also powers the OnePlus 12. This doesn’t mean both smartphones have the same performance, at least what the benchmarking platforms tell.
On Geekbench 6, the Xiaomi 14 scored 2,145 in the single-core test and 6,523 in the multi-core test. The OnePlus 12, on the other hand, has managed to pull off 2,106 and 6,468 points in the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.
The AnTuTu 10 benchmark also gives higher CPU, GPU, and memory scores to the Xiaomi 14 Ultra than the OnePlus 12.
Despite using the same chip, the smartphones have different results on benchmarking platforms because of software optimizations and heat management, among many other factors.
