Durant has been part of Team USA for a long time and all his effort has paid off. He was a vital piece to this year’s team winning the gold medal despite missing the first few pre-game showcase matchups due to a calf issue.
The Suns‘ star showed up when the team needed him most, scoring 15 points on 5-of-12 shooting from the field in the gold medal game. Durant also added four rebounds, four assists, and two steals to help grab the victory.
