The introduction of MediaTek’s Dimensity-series chips a couple of years back has certainly fared well for the brand, allowing it to compete with high-end products from rivals like Qualcomm. With that in mind, the company’s upcoming Dimensity 9400 SoC (set to arrive next month) is expected by many to be one of the most powerful mobile chipsets yet, and new benchmarks show promising results.
In fact, in terms of raw power it’s predicted that the 9400 might even be able to surpass Apple’s latest A18 Pro chipset – which is used in the iPhone 16 Pro models – courtesy of the Immortalis-G925 graphics unit onboard, which is developed by Arm.
