Former ‚Extreme Makeover: Home Edition‘ designer Eduardo Xol died on Friday, Sept. 20 at 58 years old.
Extreme Makeover: Home Edition alum Eduardo Xol died on Friday (Sept. 20) following a reported stabbing the week prior. He was 58.
Per a Sept. 24 press release from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Xol passed away at Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, California, though his injuries date back to Sept. 10.
According to TMZ, the police found Xol injured in an apartment after he had called for help. Per Desert Sun, Richard Joseph Gonzales was arrested in relation to the case, and police have requested that murder charges be filed against him.
The late designer’s family issued a statement to the outlet, in which they wrote that they”are heartbroken at the tragic loss of [their] beloved Eduardo Xol.
