The Los Angeles Rams are placing star wide receiver Puka Nacua on injured reserve, head coach Sean McVay told reporters on Monday.
Nacua re-aggravated a summer knee injury in Sunday’s season opener against the Detroit Lions, and will now miss at least the next four games. McVay revealed that he had a sprained PCL.
The Rams‘ next four games are against the Arizona Cardinals, San Francisco 49ers, Chicago Bears, and Green Bay Packers. The Rams then have a Week 6 bye, meaning the earliest Nacua could return is Week 7 (Oct. 20) against the Las Vegas Raiders.
