Former President Donald Trump on Tuesday prayed on stage and thanked God for saving his life in the two assassination attempts on his life.
Former President Donald Trump went full televangelist during a campaign appearance in Georgia Tuesday, praying on stage and thanking God for sparing him from two assassination attempts in recent weeks.
“That was a lucky one,” the 78-year-old said during remarks in Savannah while reflecting on a July 13 attempt on his life during a rally in Bulter, Pa.
“But maybe not lucky.”
The 45th president then pointed at the sky and said “right up there,” before mouthing “thank you” and clasping his hands together.
Trump was shot in the right ear by 20-year-old gunman Thomas Matthew Crooks, who also killed rallygoer Corey Comparatore and wounded two others.
