Disney Dreamlight Valley has many things to explore, but the game could add even more mystique by taking notes on Minecraft’s design.
With such a wide variety of worlds under the Disney umbrella, fans are constantly wondering which new characters and locations will be added to Disney Dreamlight Valley. From the buzzing central hub that is the Plaza, the vast savannas of the Sunlit Plateau, and the eerie atmosphere of the Forgotten Lands, Disney Dreamlight Valley has many realms to explore. However, Gameloft could add even more mystique to the game with a couple of new realms inspired by Minecraft.
The Forgotten Lands is currently Disney Dreamlight Valley’s most terrifying map. Many biomes in Dreamlight Valley are comparable to Minecraft’s, with Dreamlight Valley’s Forgotten Lands most closely resembling Minecraft’s Dark Forest. However, The Nether and The End don’t have counterparts in Dreamlight Valley, which offers an opportunity for Gameloft. How Dreamlight Valley Could Adapt its Own Version of The Nether
One could argue that a biome like The Nether, with its hellish and scary atmosphere, would not fit into the Disney branding and therefore could never be included in Dreamlight Valley. However, the younger demographic Disney caters towards also plays Minecraft, where traversing The Nether is necessary, and Gameloft itself has added many of Disney’s villains to Dreamlight Valley. With more spooky aspects of Dreamlight Valley, like Jack Skellington’s addition, proving successful, Disney has no reason to take this leap.
