To set up a hotspot on an iPhone or iPad (Wi-Fi + Cellular), go to Settings > Personal Hotspot or Settings > Cellular > Personal Hotspot and enable Allow Others to Join. (Don’t see Personal Hotspot in Settings? Contact your mobile carrier to ask about adding the feature to your plan.) Make note of the Wi-Fi password. The hotspot can also be turned on from Control Center.
