Oasis‘ Liam Gallagher hit back at ‚SNL‘ after the show mocked his feud with brother Noel in a skit.
The Gallagher brothers were the butt of the joke on “Saturday Night Live” this weekend.
Liam, 52, and Noel Gallagher, 57, were portrayed by Sarah Sherman and James Austin Johnson, respectively, during the Weekend Update segment that poked fun at the siblings’ notorious feud — which sparked a response from Liam.
Colin Jost began the segment by announcing that tickets are on sale for Oasis’ North American tour “which is surprising to some as the band has famously been feuding for decades.”
The brothers, played by Sherman, 31 and Johnson, 35, joined Jost, 42, and addressed the state of their relationship.
“I’m cool if he’s cool,” Johnson said as Noel.
“I’m cool. I’m cool. I’m cooler than you are,” Sherman responded as Liam.
“Great, so that’s a no,” said Jost.
The siblings went back and forth as “Noel” jokingly started singing their hit “Wonderwall” while calling “Liam” a “baby.
