The Chiefs blocked a potential game-winning field goal attempt by the Broncos to improve to 9-0.
The Chiefs are like John Wick.
You just can’t put them down.
The undefeated back-to-back Super Bowl champions blocked Denver’s potential game-winning field goal to escape with a 16-14 home win against the Broncos on Sunday.
Denver (5-5) drove the field in the final few minutes to set up a 35-yard field goal with one second left that could have sent the Chiefs (9-0) to their first loss.
Instead, the Chiefs broke through the line and batted down Wil Lutz’s kick.
This continues a theme of the Chiefs continuously escaping with victories in their three-peat quest.
