When you finish Veilguard, turn your hopes for a big expansion elsewhere, because its story is seemingly a one-and-done affair.
The just-released Dragon Age: The Veilguard is an RPG, and modern RPGs tend to be 40 hours or way, way more, if you play your cards right. But if you’re expecting to finish the game and continue the story of your Rook with some post-launch adventures, you’ll be disappointed to hear that won’t be happening.
Speaking with creative director Jon Epler, Rolling Stone got word there’s no plans for Veilguard to get any expansions or DLC stories. With the game now out (and doing pretty well on PC, at least), BioWare “has now shifted [focus] entirely” to the untitled fifth Mass Effect game first teased back in 2020.
