Update to the latest Edge release if you encounter the STATUS_BREAKPOINT error when browsing certain websites.
Microsoft Edge has received its third minor update since the initial release of version 130 in the second half of October 2024. The latest version, 130.0.2849.68, is now available with an important fix for a bug causing the STATUS_BREAKPOINT error and a crash, as well as patches for two security vulnerabilities.
According to the official release notes, users with Microsoft Edge version 130.0.2849.56 and older can encounter a renderer crash with the STATUS_BREAKPONG error message when browsing sites with certain accessibility features.
