The end of November brings a glut of questions, like, „Where did this year go?“ But there’s also excitement in the air as the year’s biggest shopping day approaches! Black Friday hits us on November 29th, the day after Thanksgiving, and brings tremendous discounts on all sorts of desirable products. But waiting for BF isn’t always the best bet. Smart shoppers know that retailers prep for the big sale with smaller ones all month. Some projectors are built for video playback and home entertainment, while others are designed for still images and office use. The Epson EpiqVision Flex CO-W01 straddles the line between the two, performing satisfyingly in both environments. In our review, writer M. David Stone said that the device „offers decent color accuracy and much higher brightness than home entertainment mini projectors that are only a little lighter and don’t cost much less“, praising its three-chip LCD that eliminates rainbow artifacts. With a 3,000 lumen bulb, it works well even in illuminated rooms, and the 720p video output is crisp and clean.
Projectors come in a wide variety of form factors, but there’s been a lot of advancement in the ultra-portable niche. One of the best values right now is the Xgimi MoGo 2, especially at $150 off. One caveat is that it doesn’t feature an internal battery, so you need to have access to a plug to run it or purchase an external battery pack.
