Signal now lets up to 50 people join a group call via generated links and adds more corporate-friendly meeting features.
Signal’s end-to-end encrypted platform is introducing new features to improve its group calls.
Previously, Signal users had to create a group chat to start a group call. Now, you only have to create a link and share it with invitees to start a call. Up to 50 people can now be in a group call—10 more than the previous maximum.
By default, participants will require admin approval. When they click on the link, a request to join the call will be sent to the admin.
