Saturday Night Live (SNL) took aim at the Democratic Party in its Weekend Update, after Donald Trump’s election win on Tuesday.
In a decisive political comeback, Trump swept all swing states, winning both the popular vote and the White House, defeating Vice President Kamala Harris, while his party retook the Senate and look on course to win the House of Representatives
SNL hosts Colin Jost and Michael Che took aim at Democrats and their failure to win despite Trump’s many setbacks on the campaign trail.
„On Tuesday, we learned that Democrats actually don’t know how to rig an election“, Jost opened, referencing Trump’s ongoing statements that the 2020 election was rigged.
„It’s like we’re living in a computer simulation, and whoever’s controlling Trump has a cheat code.
