Actor Channing Tatum is not stepping away from movies — but when it comes to physically transforming for a role, the ‚Magic Mike‘ star says he’s done.
Hollywood has asked actors to bulk up, slim down, and go full shapeshifter for decades — but Channing Tatum is done playing along.
„I won’t be doing any more fat roles haha“, the 44-year-old Magic Mike star wrote on Instagram Friday, March 21. „It’s too hard on the body and too hard to take off now.“
Tatum shared the caption alongside three shirtless selfies showing just how much his weight has fluctuated over the years.
„1st photo is today 205. 2nd photo 235 for a movie called Josephine. Then went to 3rd photo which is 172 for a movie Roofman“, the actor explained.
Giving credit where it’s due, Tatum continued, „Grateful for my genetics.
