Sony and Nintendo’s live-action “The Legend of Zelda” movie now has a release date – the quest will begin on March 26, 2027.
Wes Ball, who recently helmed “Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes,” will direct the feature, with original videogame creator Shigeru Miyamoto producing alongside Avi Arad.
“The Legend of Zelda” debuted on the Nintendo Entertainment System in Japan on Feb. 21, 1986, and in North America on August 22, 1987.
