Developers Insomniac and Nixxes release yet another new update for the PC version of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, featuring another round of bug fixes.
Developers Insomniac Games and Nixxes Software have released yet another update for the PC version of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, marking the sixth major update since its launch earlier this year. The latest patch brings Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 to version 1.318.1.0 and is available to download right now on both Steam and the Epic Games Store, with another handful of significant bug fixes and stability improvements.
After launching for the PlayStation 5 back in October 2023, Insomniac Games once again teamed up with Nixxes Software to develop a PC port of the smash hit sequel. Unfortunately, despite a positive reception upon its initial console release, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 launched to mixed reviews on PC. The title made its way to Steam and the Epic Games Store back in January, but a myriad of performance issues left fans disappointed by the port. Many users claimed they were experiencing crashes every 10 minutes, with some describing the overall game as „rough.“ Thankfully, the developers have continued to release a steady stream of new updates to address the issues.
With numerous updates for the PC version of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 having been deployed in recent weeks, the sequel has managed to claw its way to a „mostly positive“ rating on Steam.
