Nintendo officially shares more information about its highly anticipated Switch 2 console, confirming many games coming to the system.
The Nintendo Switch 2 will feature several heavy hitters, including Cyberpunk 2077, Borderlands 4, Enter the Gungeon 2, and Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade. This all comes as Nintendo continues to show off its shiny new Switch successor, with tons of additional details, games, and features set to be unveiled in the lead-up to its official debut this summer. While portability remains key, the Nintendo Switch 2 appears to be Nintendo’s most powerful console to date and is far more capable of running AAA titles than the original Switch.
Few could have predicted the impact the Nintendo Switch would have, not just on the video game industry but technology as a whole, with the portable console becoming one of the company’s best-selling products. Since the original Switch’s release in 2017, Nintendo has provided a steady stream of new and old games alike for the system, though many have eagerly been awaiting a Switch 2, which for the longest time seemed like nothing more than a fantasy.
