Trump has received credit for the success of his administration’s immigration crackdown in its first 100 days, with a White House fact sheet released Monday showing that border crossings, migrant encounters and “gotaways” were all down by 93% or more. NBC News correspondent Shaquille Brewster, on “Chris Jansing Reports,” said these voters, whom he met during the 2024 presidential campaign, were “excited about voting for Trump” and are currently “even more excited,” particularly noting their appreciation for his handling of immigration.
“I am totally excited. Everybody I know is excited,” a female Trump voter told Brewster. “My biggest issue is the border and he’s killing it.
