Nanjing University website says Li has taken a position as an associate professor at its Suzhou campus.
Award-winning materials scientist Li Yongxi has left the United States for a position at China’s Nanjing University (NJU).
Li, formerly an associate research scientist at the University of Michigan’s department of electrical and computer engineering, was lured back as part of China’s national high-level overseas young talent programme.
According to an April 28 post on NJU’s social media account, Li joined the university’s Institute of Functional Materials and Intelligent Manufacturing as an associate professor at its Suzhou campus.
