You can score a few all-time lows on some of the latest Apple gear.
It goes without saying that Apple devices tend to be fairly high-quality — the company’s gear currently occupies the top spots in several of our buying guides, from laptops and tablets to smartphones and smartwatches. As a result, that gear usually doesn’t come cheap. But that doesn’t mean you always have to pay full price. Good Apple deals are often out there, so long as you know where to look.
To make things easier for you, we’re keeping a running list of the best Apple deals you can shop right now on AirPods, MacBooks, iPads and more. Just note that you’ll almost always find the best Apple deals from third-party retailers like Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, Target and the like, not from Apple’s own online store. Unless you shop refurbished, you’ll usually pay top dollar buying direct (though for some items like iPhones, that might be the best route to take).
With our latest update, we’re still seeing many of the all-time lows that popped up last week, plus a few new discounts on the iPad mini, Mac mini and Apple Pencil Pro. It’s hard to say how long these deals will last given the ongoing uncertainty around tariffs, but if you’re looking to grab an early graduation gift or a belated treat for Mother’s Day, there are some decent values out there today.
Apple iPad (A16) for $278 ($71 off): The newest entry-level iPad only arrived in March, but it’s now available for as low as $278 in select colors. That’s a new low. Other colors are down to $299, which is still a solid $50 discount. The updates from the previous generation are relatively minor, but this new model comes with a faster A16 chip, 2GB more RAM and 128GB of storage as standard. It earned a score of 84 in our review — if you only need an iPad for roaming the internet, watching shows and doing some lighter productivity tasks, it’s a good starter tablet. Also at Walmart.
Apple iPad Air 11-inch (M3) for $499 ($100 off): The new iPad Air was released on the same day as the iPad (A16) and is a similarly minor update; the only big addition is a more powerful M3 chip. However, we still recommend the Air over the base model in our iPad buying guide: Its display is more color-rich and better at fending off glare, its speakers are more robust, it works with Apple’s best accessories and its performance should hold up better in the years ahead.
