Helium has launched a new $5 a month Sprout plan for kids, offering 3GB of data with unlimited talk and text and enhanced privacy.
Unlike the free Helium plan, Sprout does not require sharing location or private data and comes with flexible parental controls.
The plan is ideal for parents wanting an affordable way to test if their child is ready for their first phone.
Earlier this year, Helium unveiled a new free plan that gives users 3GB of data on the T-Mobile network in exchange for sharing location data.
