The six weeks following the hardware’s launch have been hectic, with the Nintendo Switch 2 breaking sales records and flying off shelves as stores try desperately to maintain stock.
In its first four days on the market, the Nintendo Switch 2 sold over 3.5 million units globally, making the console the company’s fastest-selling to date. Many consumers weren’t too surprised by this feat, as the original Switch surpassed both the PlayStation 2 and Nintendo DS to become the third best-selling gaming console of all time, with over 146 million units shipped globally at the time of writing. In June, Nintendo rolled out a patch improving the stability of the Switch 2, and now, the company has released yet another update to continue refining the system and improve the overall user experience.
