A month of beta updates will lead up to the big September event.
August is the calm before the storm. In September, Apple will announce the new iPhone 17 lineup and new Apple Watches and maybe some other stuff, too. But in August, we’re just primarily going to get a steady march of OS beta updates leading up to that launch, and the macOS 26, iOS 26, tvOS 26, everything-else 26 updates that come along in September.
Of course there will be the usual bevy of Apple Arcade releases at the start of the month and Apple TV+ releases throughout the month, too. We don’t expect any new hardware announcements.Apps and software updates
The first public betas of iOS 26, macOS 26, iPadOS 26, watchOS 26, and tvOS 26 were all released on July 24.
Throughout August, we can expect two or three more beta updates as Apple continues to polish the experience, squash bugs, and improve performance. The current betas have all the major features promised at WWDC, so there’s not
