Casio expands its G-Shock x Hokusai DW-5600 series to Europe, featuring designs inspired by The Great Wave and Mount Fuji.
Casio is expanding its collaboration with Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai to more European markets. Two models, the G-Shock DW-5600KHG25-1 and DW-5600KHK25-1, were first released in Japan earlier this year and are now listed on Casio’s online stores in Germany, the Netherlands, and other EU countries.
The DW-5600KHG25-1 is based on Hokusai’s “Fine Wind, Clear Morning,” showing Mount Fuji in orange against a blue sky. The DW-5600KHK25-1 uses the famous “The Great Wave off Kanagawa,” with blue waves set against a light yellow background. Both watches have a positive display with a light background, surrounded by a black resin bezel, case, and strap.
