Jennifer Lopez stayed calm as a cricket crawled up her body during her Almaty, Kazakhstan, concert, brushing it off after finishing her song
Jennifer Lopez didn’t get loud when a huge bug crawled up her body during a recent performance.
Lopez, 56, remained calm and collected when a cricket landed on her during her concert in Almaty, Kazakhstan, on Sunday, August 10, as seen in video footage shared via the Instagram page for the “Let’s Get Loud” singer’s On the J. Lo newsletter. She continued to sing even as the insect scurried up her black bodysuit with fishnet cutouts, crawling all the way to her neck. It wasn’t until Lopez sang the final notes of her ballad that she finally flicked the cricket off her neck with her arm outstretched, flashing a huge smile.
“It was tickling me,” she told the cheering crowd.
“Plot twist: @JLo just started rehearsals for Kiss of the Cricket Woman… on stage… in real time. ????????????,” the caption read, putting a spin on Lopez’s upcoming musical drama film, Kiss of the Spider Woman.
Fans in the comments section praised Lopez’s poise in the creepy moment.
