Big changes are coming to the streaming landscape, as by 2026, Disney+ and Hulu will be combined into a single app. Until then, Disney has the ultra-popular Marvel and Star Wars franchises, while Hulu brings the heat with tons of movies and shows from network partners.
Between the two services, they release a ton of content every week, so I’ll make it easy for you by picking three worthwhile new entries. The third week in August brings a bunch of reality TV, including Chris Hemsworth pushing the limits of human ability, along with the John Wick movies and more. All four of the John Wick flicks are hitting Hulu in mid-August, so if you want to have a serious action marathon, now’s your chance. These over-the-top action masterpieces let Keanu do the least possible emoting while he shoots a million people, and the supporting casts are always spectacular. Sure, the „lore“ makes no sense, but when it’s this fun, who cares?
